他提出:音乐教育是一种特殊教育,特事要特办。高等院校发展的主要出路在于进一步深化改革。中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理李岚清,10月20日来我院考察工作,体现了党和政府对艺术教育事业的关怀和支持,使师生员工受到很大鼓舞。是日上午8时30分,李副总理以及国务院副秘书长徐志坚、国家教委副主任柳斌、文化部副部长陈昌本、北京市委副书记李志坚同志乘车驶入校园,受到院党委书记徐士家、党委副书记兼副院长左因、副院长孔庆先、纪委书记李精玉、院长助理戴嘉枋的迎接。由于去年秋季我院附中校舍出现险情被迫停课一事在社会引起较大反响,故李岚清同志一行首先来到附中,听取了陈南岗校长、陈维熙副校长关于校舍维修和学生复课的情况汇报,亲自察看了教室和宿舍。
