泸糯8号是四川省水稻高粱研究所(农业部高粱原原种基地)用自育红粒糯性不育系45A与山西省农科院高粱研究所糯恢复系35R配组育成的糯高粱新品种。2005年通过四川省农作物品种审定委员会审定。2004年引入浙江省诸暨市试种,经3年多点种植,表现为高产、优质、再生能力强、生育期适中等特点,综合性状明显优于本地红高粱和湘两优糯梁1号,适合本市及省内相似高粱生产区域种植,推广前景广阔。
