入秋后,10月下旬养蚕结束,桑叶摘完,桑树进入休眠期,如能利用桑园行距,种上一造冬菜,不但可以增加收入,而且对桑树生长也有好处。平南县大成乡村头村20户农民连年利用桑园行距套种冬辣椒、白菜、青菜、萝卜等,每亩增收500～1200元;翌年桑树可提早10天发芽,枝壮产量高,比不套种蔬菜的桑增产桑叶15～20%,他们的体会是:
