It is undeniable that criticism is an art and knowledge of aging very quickly. That is why there is the division of so-called “critics of the day before yesterday”, “critics of yesterday” and “critics of today.” After 70 years of criticism, 80 young post-1980s critics have grown into critics. In order to gather these young literary critics so that they can make their own voices heard better, the Shanghai Writers Association, the Museum of Modern Chinese Literature and the Southern Literary Tribune jointly sponsored the Critics Today Forum. Recently, the second forum was held in Shanghai with the theme of “Critical Context and Ethics”.
