杨叔子,著名机械工程专家,1933年生,江西湖口人,1991年当选中国科学院院士。曾任原华中理工大学校长,现为华中科技大学学术委员会主任,教育部高等学校文化素质教育指导委员会主任。在先进制造等前沿学科多有建树,荣获国家自然科学奖、国家发明奖、省部级科技奖20多项,专利5项。在国内外发表学术论文500余篇,出版专著教材12种。获国家级、省部级教学、图书重要奖励13项。指导的研究生已有百余人获得博士学位。
Yang Shizi, a famous mechanical engineering expert, born in 1933, Hukou, Jiangxi Province, was elected to the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1991. Former president of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology is now the director of the Academic Committee, Ministry of Education, College Cultural Quality Education Steering Committee. In the advanced manufacturing and other frontier disciplines more achievements, won the National Natural Science Award, the National Invention Award, provincial and ministerial level science and technology award more than 20, 5 patents. Published more than 500 academic papers at home and abroad, 12 kinds of monographs published. Won the national, provincial and ministerial level teaching, book important reward 13. Over one hundred graduate students have obtained a doctorate.
