The authors used spectral analysis to study resting and positional tremor, intentional and behavioral tremor, clonus, and gear tooth phenomena in Parkinson’s disease based on frequency differences. The peak frequency of typical rest tremor is between 4-5.3H_z and the individual variation is only O.2-0.3H_z. The peak frequency of positional tremor is between 6 and 6.2 Hz.
