本品系通过辐射处理冀84—5418(冀麦30)小麦单株选育而成。在保持了冀84—5418小麦优良特性基础上,具有以下突出特点:(1)比冀84—5418小麦穗分化提前。抽穗、开花和成熟提早3—5天。(2)籽粒灌浆明显加快,成熟落黄正常,千粒重高而稳。1992年千粒重为39.7克;1993年为40.3克,比冀84—5418高6.9克;1994年千粒重高达44.4—48.4克,在足水条件下比冀84—5418高9.3克,在节水条件下高6.4克。(3)晚播早熟高产。1994年深泽县北濯头村20亩示范繁种田,10月14日播种,平均亩产达425公斤以上,6月7日测定
