The first phase of “Information and Computer” in 2000 met with you at the spring of the new century. On behalf of all my colleagues in CCS, I wish all readers a happy and prosperous New Year! The 20th century is the most glorious and greatest century in the history of human science. The fruitful science and technology have turned the past science fantasies into reality. The birth of the computer in the late 1940s, the emergence of the Internet in the late 1960s, although its development lasted only about half a century, but it has entered all areas of human life. Einstein’s theory of relativity in the early 20th century changed the concept of space-time in physics, while the Internet in the late 20th century changed the view of time and space in human’s real life.
