生物金属是为了作为通电加热的驱动装置利用而特制的金属丝,基本上是钛镍系形状记忆合金。和一般的器件比较,具有以下特点。①连续使用的尺寸稳性定优越。②反复动作寿命大幅度提高。③形状回复力和变形中需要的力差大(以小偏置力给予变形)。④过热性能强。⑤电阻大。⑥冷却时的响应优越。⑦不用担心由于常温户外空气引起的误动作。
