在全国棉纺行业市场疲软、棉纱价格一跌再跌、效益滑坡的情况下,地处黄河岸边的山东省东明县棉纺织厂却从一个万枚纱锭的小厂,发展到拥有1718名职工,1.32亿元固定资产的具有一定规模的大厂。1998年,该厂共完成工业总产值5053万元,实现销售收入7048万元,实现利税523万元,曾连续7年被国家纺织工业局(总会、部)命名为安全生产“三无”企业,是全国商办工业百强企业和全国供销系统济效益百强企业之一,全国供销系统工业大型龙头企业,并步人全国供销社工业“国家队”的行列。还荣获银行信用省级AAA企业,省地“重合同、守信用”企业、文明单位和全区“管理示范企业”等多种荣誉称号。该厂生产的“鸥翎”牌棉纱被全国供销
