Previous pentachlorophenol (pcp) exposure studies suggest that protein binding may be a major factor in the persistence of pcp in human and rat blood. Therefore, this study elucidates some of the features of protein binding to pcp. At the same time, human and rat plasma and albumin pcp binding were compared.
