Since September 1987, I have been conducting juvenile justice in the People’s Court of Haidian District, Beijing for 22 years now. As the first judge of juvenile justice in China, I had the honor of going through the entire history of the Juvenile Court of Haidian court from scratch, from the beginning to the establishment of an all-round development. For more than 20 years, juvenile courts have slowly grown from toddlers to youths. In this process, there are many things worth our aftertaste and pondering. Here I will share my insights on juvenile courts and even juvenile justice over the years and share my experiences with my colleagues so as to jointly share the joy brought by the growth of juvenile tribunals and jointly cope with the challenges and opportunities in the development of adolescent tribunals. The court thrived.
