探究式学习最早由美国教育家、哲学家约翰.杜威提出,他认为科学教育不仅仅是要让学生学习大量的知识,更重要的是要学习科学研究的过程或方法。探究式学习是学生围绕一定的问题、文本或材料,在教师的帮助和支持下,学生自己通过阅读、观察、实验、思考、讨论、听讲等途径自主寻求或自主建构答案、意义、信息或理解的活动或过程。探究式学习注重学习的过程和方法,符合新课程目标重视“过程与方法”的理念。
Inquiry learning was first proposed by American educator and philosopher John Dewey. He believes that science education should not only allow students to learn a great deal of knowledge, but more importantly, to study the process or method of scientific research. Inquiry-based learning is about students’ questions and texts or materials. With the help and support of teachers, students themselves seek or construct answers, meanings, information or understanding by reading, observing, experimenting, thinking, discussing and listening.
