财税政策是政府协调和促进区域经济发展的重要手段,在我国实施的中部崛起战略中,湖北作为中部工农业大省,与中部其他省份相比,在经济、区位、科教资源等方面均具有一定优势,理应成为中部崛起的领头羊和重要战略支点。但目前,财税政策对于湖北的发展仍具有很大的作用空间,湖北应依托武汉城市圈,加强自身的财源建设、规范财政转移支付制度、提出政策诉求,争取中央财政的大力支持等财税政策,这是实现湖北在中部崛起战略中重要支点地位的现实选择。
