张东荪作为西方文明的介绍者和中国现代化的积极推进者,在其“中间政治路线”破产后,提出构建“民族国家主义”和“个人主义”,作为中国实现民主社会的“中间媒介物”,从而推动中国社会的民主化进程。本文试图从其思想的提出、产生的原因、时代的局限性等方面作一简要的分析。
As an introductory member of Western civilization and an active promoter of China’s modernization, Zhang Dongsun proposed to establish “national nationalism” and “individualism” as the “intermediate medium” of China’s realization of a democratic society after its bankruptcy of the “middle political line” Thus promoting the democratization process in Chinese society. This article tries to make a brief analysis from the aspects of the proposition of its thought, the reason of its emergence and the limitations of the times.
