在2月26日刚刚结束的“全国同‘法轮功’邪教组织斗争先进集体、先进个人表彰大会”上,中科院原京区党委常务副书记蔡春雷同志榜上有名,受到表彰。此次,全国被表彰的“全国同‘法轮功’邪教组织斗争先进个人”共有271名。 1999年“4.25”事件发生后,作为中科院京区党委常务副书记,蔡春雷同志以高度的政治责任感,带领京区单位干部群众同“法轮功”邪教组织展开坚决斗争。他既当指挥员又当战斗员,始终战斗在工作第一线,为京区单位的广大党员干部,尤其是领导干部树立了学习的榜样。
On February 26, Comrade Cai Chunlei, former deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was commended for honoring the advanced collectives and advanced individuals in the struggle against the “Falungong cult in the whole country and the cult of Falun Gong.” This time, the entire nation was honored with 271 “Advanced Individuals in Fighting the Falun Gong in China.” After the “4.25” incident in 1999, Comrade Cai Chunlei, a standing deputy party secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Beijing Municipal Government, led by a high degree of political responsibility the cadres and masses in the Beijing area to hold resolute struggle against the “Falungong” cult. He was both a commander and a combatant and always fought at the front line of the work. He set an example for the vast numbers of Party members and cadres, especially the leading cadres in the units in the Beijing area.
