在内蒙古社会科学院1984年内部出版的《编辑学与编辑业务》一书中,收有龙世辉的两篇讲演录即《关于文学编辑工作中的几个具体问题》、《文学编辑的基本素质》。文末的“作者介绍”中说:“龙世辉,男,59岁,湖南省武冈县人。1952年辅仁大学中文系毕业。中央文学研究所第一期第二班学员。长期从事文学编辑工作。曾任人民文学出版社编辑,《当代》杂志编辑部副主任,现为作家出版社副总编辑。编辑出版过《林海雪原》、《三家巷》、《清江壮歌》、《前驱》、《代价》、《将军吟》、《芙蓉镇》等长篇小说。”初读此书是在1987年,我正在攻读编辑学硕士学位。第一次的神交就令我倾倒,龙世辉的编辑历程给我留下了深刻
