目的分析血清铁蛋白(SF)与胰岛功能的相关性,进一步探讨铁储备在胰岛素抵抗及2型糖尿病发生、发展中的作用。方法研究对象分为糖尿病组与健康对照组,采用酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)检测SF水平,同时检测空腹胰岛素、血糖水平,并测量身高、体质量、血压、腰围、臀围,并计算腰臀比、体质量指数、胰岛素抵抗指数及胰岛β细胞功能(HOMA β-cell),分析其相关性。结果与对照组相比:糖尿病组患者SF水平显著升高(P<0.01);与胰岛素抵抗指数呈正相关(r=0.473,P<0.01);与HOMA β-cell呈负相关(r=-0.415,P=0.01)。结论铁超载可能通过增加胰岛素抵抗、损伤β细胞而引发糖尿病。
Objective To analyze the correlation between serum ferritin (SF) and pancreatic islet function and further explore the role of iron reserve in the development of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods The subjects were divided into diabetic group and healthy control group. The level of SF was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), fasting insulin and blood glucose levels were measured simultaneously, and the height, weight, blood pressure, waist circumference and hip circumference were measured. Hip ratio, body mass index, insulin resistance index and islet β-cell function (HOMA β-cell) were analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, SF level in diabetic patients was significantly increased (P <0.01), positively correlated with insulin resistance index (r = 0.473, P <0.01), negatively correlated with HOMA β-cell , P = 0.01). Conclusion Iron overload may induce diabetes by increasing insulin resistance and damaging β-cells.
