The chemical composition of ancient pottery is one of the basic properties of ancient pottery. Through its analysis, we can study the development of the ancient society of pottery craft, reveal its inherent laws, enrich the understanding of the connotation of archaeological culture and provide a scientific basis for the reconstruction of ancient social life framework. Therefore, the determination of chemical composition has become the basis for in-depth study of ancient pottery making technology, which is one of the important means to judge the origin of pottery and occupies an indispensable place in the field of scientific archeology.
