江西省萍乡市化肥厂前几年先后安装了两台蒸发量分别为8吨/时和10吨/时的全沸腾型锅炉,拟燃用厂区附近煤矿的煤矸石和厂内的造气炉炉渣。由于对这类新型锅炉缺乏使用经验,再加上锅炉原设计上的某些不足,在试烧过程中需在煤矸石中掺入60％的优质烟煤才能燃用,而且常出现点火、压火困难,容易结焦黑火等情况。致使汽量不足,压力波动大,甚至停车。
