在地震和地质构造关系上,作者对以下几个问题阐述了自己的看法:(1)地震发生的动力;(2)断层和地震的关系;(3)浅源地震和深源地震;(4)稳定区与活动区;(5)平静期与活动期;(6)垂直地形变与水平地形变.作者认为地壳的水平移动可能是发震的主要动力,因此认为在常发震区经常进行大地测量,观察各地的水平地形变,对中、长期地震预报可能起到有效的作用.
In the relationship between earthquakes and geological structure, the author expounds his views on the following issues: (1) the motivation of the earthquake; (2) the relationship between faults and earthquakes; (3) shallow and deep earthquakes; (4) (5) the period of quiescence and activity, (6) the vertical deformation and the horizontal deformation.The authors believe that the horizontal movement of the crust may be the main motive force of the earthquake, and therefore it is often considered in the frequent earthquakes Geodetic surveys and observation of horizontal deformation around the earth may play an effective role in the medium and long term earthquake prediction.
