英籍华裔作家韩素音是最早抑制电视的名人,她谑称电视为“傻瓜箱”。她的理由是电视剥夺人的思考,扼杀人的创造。对于普通人而言,过分迷恋电视还是疾病丛生的温床。
Han Suyin, a British-Chinese writer, was one of the earliest celebrities to suppress television. She jokingly called television a “fool box.” Her reason is that television deprives people of thinking and stifles people’s creation. For the average person, being overly infatuated with television is a hotbed of disease.
