2009年8月30日,《中国图们江区域合作开发规划纲要——以长吉图为开发开放先导区》由国务院正式批准,它标志着以长吉图为开发开放先导区的中国图们江区域合作开发上升为国家战略。经过几年来的建设,长吉图开发开放取得了可喜的成果,长吉一体化建设也稳步推进。为了进一步加快推进长吉一体化的进程,笔者认为应该加速两市间重要节点、功能区和连接带的发展壮大,应该按照“壮大节点、以点连线、以线成面”梯次推进,在培育四大节点、八大功能区、三大产业带的基础上,在长吉两市连接带和结合
