董光荣，男，汉族，1936年2月 16日生于江苏省宜兴市。 1960年7月毕业于北京大学地质地理系自然地理专业，1962年9月在该系地貌专业海岸动力地貌研究生肄业。 1962年以来先后在中国科学院地理研究所、兰州冰川冻土沙漠研究所、兰州沙漠研究所工作。1999年7月开始在中国科学院寒区旱区环境与工程研究所工作，任研究员、博士生导师。1973年以前主要从事现代冰川研究。曾任冰川气侯组副组长和所计划组组长等职。1974年迄今一直从事
Dong Guangrong, male, Han nationality, was born on February 16, 1936 in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province.
