海南国际旅游岛的建设急需一批懂英语、懂旅游的专业技能人才,在这种大背景下,我院针对英语专业学生开设了《旅游英语》这门课程,作为一门核心技能课程,如何使用一种行之有效的教学方法实现课堂和职业的对接尤为重要。作者结合本院英语专业旅游英语教学实际,阐述了情景教学法在这门课程教学中的应用,以一堂课为例,最终强调情景教学法对学生职业技能的培养及语言掌握的重要作用。
The construction of Hainan International Tourism Island urgently needs a group of talented professionals who can understand English and understand tourism. Under this background, our college has set up the course “Tourism English” for English majors as a core skill course It is particularly important to use an effective teaching method to connect classroom with career. Based on the actual English teaching in tourism of English major in our hospital, the author expounds the application of situational teaching method in this course teaching. Taking one course as an example, the author emphasizes the importance of situational teaching method in cultivating students’ vocational skills and mastering the language.
