Both Anisodus tanguticus (Maxim) pascher and Przewalskia tangutica Maxim belong to Solanaceae and are endemic species distributed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. As the plant contains many kinds of alkaloids, it has been extracted from the pharmaceutical industry in recent years Atropine, scopolamine, anisodamine (new drug “654”) and other raw materials to be used. However, since these two kinds of plants are sporadically distributed in pastoral areas above 3000 meters above sea level, both of them have difficulties in collection and transportation, and they are far from adequate for large-scale production. Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to establish a stable raw material base.
