公司价值和风险的研究是公司财务的重要内容,我们将CEO性别因素引入到公司价值和风险的研究中,利用事件研究,构建CEO性别和公司价值、公司风险的关联模型。研究结论表明:CEO上任事件会影响公司的价值,而女性CEO的上任对公司价值具有更显著的影响;女性CEO上任会降低公司风险,高风险公司更愿意任用女性CEO。
The study of company value and risk is an important part of corporate finance. We introduce the CEO gender into the study of company value and risk, and use event research to build a correlation model of CEO gender and company value and company risk. The conclusion of the study shows that the CEO incumbents will affect the value of the company, while the female CEO’s appointment has a more significant impact on the company’s value. When the CEO assumes the office, the corporate risk will be reduced, and the high-risk company will prefer the female CEO.
