哈尔滨师范大学艺术学院成立至今已有近十年的历史,其前身为哈师院艺术系、哈师大美术系、音乐系。艺术学院下设六个系:美术教育系、美术系、工艺美术系、音乐教育系、音乐系和文化管理系。美教系、美术系和工艺系这三个系集中了我省乃至全国部分著名画家、学者、教授,他们长期从事着艺术教育和创作实践,并且数年来为社会培养了大批合格人才。艺术学院已经成为黑龙江高等艺术教育中最有权威的教学创作单位。 这支教学创作队伍,既是省内具有权威性的美术教学力量,又是一支强有力的创作力量,这是因为这支队伍对本学科理论与实践具有较深的研究,绝大部分作品在社会上获得认可和普遍好评,部分作品引起了强烈反响。这支队伍除参加了数十次国内外重大画展和学术活动外,还获得了数十次国际性的、全国性的、省市级的各种奖励,部分作品被中国美术馆、中国画研究院、中南海和上海美术馆、江苏美术馆、香港市政局艺术展览馆等权威机构以及哈默先生、杨振
