范家碾遗址位于成都市温江区公平镇红桥村七组范家碾(图一),南距光华大道约1500米,西距凤凰北路约178米,正在修建的花都大道东段从遗址的中部穿过,西南距江安河1000余米。整个遗址形状近似圆角长方形,正南北向分布,南北长约148、东西宽约100米,总面积13 000余平方米(图二)。地理坐标为北纬30°41′36.3″～30°41′41.1″、东经103°53′30.2″～103°53′34″,海拔约为517米。地表原为农田,地势
