便捷式移栽器同传统工具相比，移栽效率可提高２０％以上，劳动强度低、盖膜质量好，起垄、施肥、盖膜与移栽可分步进行。虽然在移栽中限制了传统的将穴肥与穴土搅拌的过程，但试验证明：施用与常规移栽相同用量与配比的穴施作基肥时，不影响烟株还苗与早生快发；作追肥时，部分烟株移栽后出现轻度肥害，生长受到一定影响。
