每个民族语言中都有丰富多彩的熟语,它包含了一个民族的历史文化背景、价值观、思维方式等信息。翻译熟语时译者必须根据译文读者的认知和接受能力,采用适当的翻译方法把熟语再现出来。在这方面,哈萨克文译本《红楼梦》的熟语翻译是一个成功的范例。
Each ethnic language has a rich and colorful idioms, which contains a nation’s historical and cultural background, values, ways of thinking and other information. When translating an idiom, the translator must interpret the idioms according to the cognitive and receptive skills of the translator, using appropriate translation methods. In this regard, the translation of idioms in the Kazakh translation of A Dream of Red Mansions is a successful example.
