日前中国福利会严福富同志来电嘱检送宋庆龄信件供北京人民出版社编辑宋庆龄书信集之用。我于是找出她给父亲杨杏佛和我的信复印件,细心阅读后译成中文寄去。在读这些信时,她的音容笑貌和平易待人的往事又出现在我的眼前。宋庆龄和孙中山一样,以其政治理想和高尚人格成为深受中外人士景仰的历史人物。她的友人和同志如我的父亲、史沫特莱、伊罗生、陈翰笙、爱泼斯坦等都称她为孙夫人或尊称为夫人(Madam),我也是这样称呼她的。她在任何场
A few days ago, Comrades of China Welfare Association Yan Fu-fu inspected and sent a letter from Soong Ching Ling for editing by Beijing’s People’s Publishing House. I then found out her copy of her father, Yang Xing Buddha and my letter, carefully read and translated into Chinese. While reading these letters, her voice, smile, face and peace of mind reappeared in front of me.
