1999年10月25日,我们一行4人从和田市出发,在平展的315柏油国道上迅速向东奔去,路经塔克拉玛干沙漠南缘的洛甫、策勒、于田,到达了沙漠公路的起点站——民丰。位于昆仑山北麓,塔里木盆地南缘的民丰,几年前还是一个交通闭塞的小县城,自从沙漠公路通车后,这里成了一个交通枢纽,高楼一个接一个的耸立起来,华都宾馆、宝瑞宾馆、尼雅宾馆一个接一个的开始迎客。宽敞的大街上到处是电话亭,南来北往的过客都要在这里歇歇脚整顿一番。
On 25 October 1999, our delegation of four departed from the city of Hotan and rushed eastwards on the flat 315 State Road of the Tarmac, passing by Lop, Celle and Yutian to the south of the Taklamakan Desert, reaching the desert highway Starting point - Minfeng. Located in the northern foot of the Kunlun Mountains, Minfeng in the southern margin of the Tarim Basin, a few years ago, a small town was blocked by traffic.
