In order to promote the theoretical business study of barefoot doctors and rapidly improve the level of medical technology, Sanming District of Fujian Province conducted a general examination of rural barefoot doctors. There are 3,470 barefoot doctors in rural areas in Sanming, with an average of two or two production teams. After many years of training, counseling, and study and practice, these barefoot doctors have made great contributions to disease prevention and eradication, family planning, and “two-in-one, five-reform” reforms. However, in the past, as a result of Lin Biao and the “Gang of Four” advocating “more knowledge and more reactionary”, such public opinion has affected the study and improvement of the theoretical business of barefoot doctors.
