润滑剂在钛合金的热成形中起着至关重要的作用。针对现有润滑材料存在的涂层不均、防护温度区间狭窄以及使用不便等缺陷,研究了玻璃纤维布作为新型钛合金热成形的润滑保温材料的热防护特性。根据钛合金热成形的工艺特点,探讨了玻璃润滑剂的防护性能要求以及相关测试方法;对玻璃纤维布的软化起始温度、氧化防护特性、保温特性、比热以及高温粘度等关键指标进行了测试,并与常规玻璃悬浮液的防护性能进行了对比;分析了玻璃纤维布作为钛合金热锻用润滑保温防护剂的可行性。结果表明,除了起始融化温度偏高外,该玻璃纤维材料在氧化防护、保温传热特性以及高温粘度等方面均能够满足钛合金热成形的要求。
Lubricants play a crucial role in the thermoforming of titanium alloys. In view of the existing coatings, such as uneven coating, narrow protection temperature range and inconvenient use, the thermal protection of glass fiber cloth as a new type of titanium alloy thermoforming lubrication insulation material was studied. According to the process characteristics of thermoforming of titanium alloy, the protective performance requirements of glass lubricants and the related testing methods are discussed. The key indexes such as softening onset temperature, oxidation protection property, thermal insulation property, specific heat and high temperature viscosity of glass fiber cloth The test was compared with that of conventional glass suspensions. The feasibility of using glass fiber cloth as lubricant for thermal forging of titanium alloy was analyzed. The results show that in addition to the high initial melting temperature, the glass fiber material can meet the requirements of thermoforming of titanium alloy in the aspects of oxidation protection, thermal insulation and heat transfer characteristics, and high temperature viscosity.
