Living radical polymerization is one of the most active research fields in polymer science at present. Atom transfer radical polymerization is a very effective way to realize living polymerization, which can realize the activity-controlled radical polymerization of many monomers. This review summarizes the progress of atom transfer radical polymerization and its recent progress.
