进贤县位于江西省东部偏北,属红壤丘陵地区,红壤旱地面积2.2万公顷,占耕地面积30%。该县自然条件优越,气候温暖湿润,降雨量充沛。为探索红壤旱地套种玉米的可能性,解决饲源不足困难,提高旱地经济效益,该县进行了大量试验示范。实践证明,红壤旱地套种玉米经济效益较好,不与其它作物争地,是多层次、多熟制的立体种植,在红壤旱地具有广阔的发展前景。
Jinxian County is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, is a red soil hilly region, red soil dry land area of 22000 hectares, accounting for 30% of arable land. The county has excellent natural conditions, warm and humid climate, abundant rainfall. In order to explore the possibility of maize interplanted with red soils in drylands, solve the problems of inadequate feeding sources and improve the economic benefits of dry land, a large number of demonstration experiments were carried out in this county. Practice has proved that interplanted maize in red soil dryland has good economic benefits and does not compete with other crops. It is a multi-level and multi-cooked three-dimensional planting and has a broad development prospect in red soil drylands.
