安吉竹子博览园位于浙江省湖州市境内,始建于1974年,占地近1200亩,是国家AAAA级旅游景区、全国生态文化示范企业、全国科普教育基地、竹子国家级林木种质资源异地保护库。现收集保存30余属、300余种竹种品种,是国内保存散生茎、混生茎竹种数量最多、品种最齐全的基地,是观竹、赏竹、品竹的圣地。走进竹博园,就踏进了竹的世界、竹的海洋,而中国竹子博物馆和安吉大熊猫馆是这绿色竹海中两颗最璀璨的明珠。
