Objective: To explore the significance of absorbable seal in obstetrics and gynecology. Methods: A total of 240 obstetrics and gynecology patients admitted to our hospital from January 2012 to August 2013 were selected as the research object. The patients were divided into gynecology group and obstetrics group. The patients were randomly divided into two groups Observation group and control group. The patients in the observation group were sutured with absorbable sutures while the control group were sutured with traditional sutures. The clinical effects of the two groups were observed and analyzed. Results: Wound infection and fat liquefaction in the observation group were significantly lower in the gynecological group than those in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <005). The operative time of the observation group and the wound infection rate Significantly lower than the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). The operation time, duration of lochia, wound infection rate and liquefaction rate in the cesarean section observation group were significantly different from those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Absorbable suture can significantly reduce the operation time, wound infection and fat liquefaction, to improve the therapeutic effect of surgery, it has important clinical value.
