庄子云:“人生天地之间,若白驹之过隙,忽然而已”。古今感同,我亦数十年光阴,一恍而过,竟不觉已到耳顺之年。回首往事,风雨阴晴,宛如昨日。一九八一年,凭着一篇论文,幸运地走进兰亭。从此步入了书坛,以创作、理论和教学度过了大半生。在别人眼里我是一个很辛苦的人,但我却有幸福感。我学书经历了三个阶段:一是“察之者尚精,拟之者贵似”(孙过庭语);二是“贵能深造求其通”(吴昌硕语);三是“十分学七要抛三,各有灵苗各自探”(郑板桥语)。第一阶段时,务须选定一家为根本。临帖惟恐不像,惟恐不深,惟恐不精。切忌
