据山东省《黄县志》(1936年)记载,山东省黄县(现龙口市)“诸姓在清中叶,乡人有丁、王、姜、逢之称,盖以财富言也”。很久以前,山东省黄县民间也流传着一丁、二王、三姜、四逄四大家族之说。一丁,是指富有的丁氏家族,即龙口市历史上的“丁百万”家族。“丁百万”何其人也?他是怎样发家的呢?又是如何衰落的呢?他的兴衰对当前经济建设有何借鉴意义?笔者根据多年调查的口碑资料,在研究《丁氏族谱》的基础上,撰文以飨读者。
