15年前我曾遥望2000年撰诗,表达“心随四化二千载”的愿望。如今。千禧年近在眼前,虽疾病缠身,但“尽罄余微方得休”的心愿,仍时时在胸中荡漾。 “十载明堂鬓已秋,如今更上协商楼。”1988年我在担任民盟中央参议委员会主席之后,又步入政协担任全国政协副主席。从那之后,我有更多的机会,与民盟盟友及其他民主党派人士,参政议政,共商国家大事。自己为尊重知识、尊重人才大力呼号,在党中央和国务院的领导下,我所提出的问题,大都已获得解决,真令我无比欣慰。
