抗战时期1941年5月,大公报在重庆曾获美国密苏里新闻学院新闻奖。正如张季鸾先生所表示的,它不仅是大公报一报的荣誉,而且它象征国际新闻界对于为民族尊严、国家独立、世界和平而奋斗的中国新闻工作人员的高度评价。事隔40年,在香港,大公报社长费彝民接受法国政府授予的法国“骑士荣誉勋章”,同样地,不仅是费彝民个人的荣誉,而且是每一个决心终生从事新闻事业的人感到高兴的事。
During the war of resistance against Japan in May 1941, Ta Kung Pao won the News Award of the Missouri School of Journalism in Chongqing.
