本文根据１９９１—１９９３年《浙江渔场鲐鲹鱼资源利用研究》课题要求，综合分析了夏秋季渔场的水文特征，浮游动物的种类组成及数量分布，鲐鲹鱼不同群体的分布及生物学特征，幼鱼发生量的历年变化，围、拖网捕捞鲐鲹鱼的现状。讨论了海况环境对鲐鲹鱼渔场形成的制约作用，阐明鲐鲹鱼中心渔场的形成与水文环境和浮游动物量的关系，分析了鲐鲹鱼的资源状况及利用潜力，提出进一步开发利用的建议。
