《三字经》相传出自宋元之际宁波大学者王应麟之手。不过在广东顺德举办的一次历史档案文献展上,展出了一件由清朝咸丰探花、顺德人李文田编辑的《三字经句释》,其封面上“区适子手著”5个大字佐证了《三字经》出自顺德。据明清之际的屈大均在《广东新语》卷11中记载:“童蒙所诵《三字经》乃宋末区适子所撰。”另一位广东学者凌扬藻在《蠡勺编》中,也认为《三字经》是区适子所撰。这在浙江宁波学者中引起了强烈反响。一些学者认定,《三字经》的作者早被确认是王应麟无疑。王应麟(1223—1296),字伯厚,南宋鄞县人。他少年时通
