I. INTRODUCTION This paper presents the experimental results of two adaptive time-space processors. One of the processors is used for active detection while the other is for evaluation. In the former case, the temporal form of the signal is known; in the latter case it is unknown. In both cases, we assume that the signal and the noise are irrelevant and the direction of the signal is known. The best antenna processor in stable media under the usual guidelines for active or passive detection and estimation has been discussed in several books. Some are given in Section II. These processors are connected to the noise received by the sensor only by the inverse of the time-space correlation matrix R of the noise.
