宋大可同志是我们许多同志都很熟悉的一个优秀的共产党员.是一个忠实地为战士服务的前线新闻记者,也是一个优秀的青年艺术工作者.一九四七年九月,他随突击部队深入最前线采访,不幸中弹光荣牺牲.今年是他逝世十一周年,他那坚毅,纯朴、从无倦意的面容,他那踏实、谦虚近人的作风,永远留在人们的脑中.大可同志是山东峄县人.由于家境很贫寒,幼年读书不多,参加革命以后,在党的直接培育下,他以无比的勤劳苦学、研究与创造的精神,终于掌握了绘画、木刻、摄影、写作等各种艺术武器,并以之忠实地服务于人民群众的解放事业.
