尖山铁矿由采区下来的矿石经过溜井运输至斜井底部,再经过长距离大功率爬坡胶带运至破碎区域,该运输胶带的提升高度超过400 m,功率为1 450×3 k W,胶带长度2 400 m。这样长距离的爬坡胶带运行中一旦发生事故,就会造成巨大损失。为了胶带的安全运行,公司在原设计的基础上对胶带的控制方式进行了优化,并取得了很好的效果。
