近几年来,发挥自身优势,立足港口,面向社会,开拓进取,积极开展科技咨询,经济实力明显增强.走上了“工作自主,经费自筹,人员自聘”的“三自”轨道.一、根据港口实际需要,积极开展学术研究采取重点课题与自选课题相结合的方法,广泛发动会员撰写学术论文,组织专题调查,召开研究会等,撰写了一批质量较高的论文和调查报告.对港口的深化改革,扩大开放,提高效益,发展建设等起到了积极的作用.例如组织一批顾问、专家及有关领导,先后对福州港务局所属马尾港务公司和省港口工程公司进行了调查对两个公司面临的困难和对策作了“会诊”,分析原因,提出措施,为企业走向市场提供参考意见,供有关领导和部门决策.
