《高等学校翻译专业本科教学要求》提出,翻译专业(BTI)人才培养的目标是培养(合格的)职业译者(口译或笔译)。要培养职业译者,就需要全面深入了解口笔译的职业市场;此次在浙江省各地区的口译市场调研表明,目前浙江省大部分用人单位拥有专职译员,但各地区译员薪资参差不齐;整体市场门槛较低但对译员综合能力要求却较高;专职译员工作内容多样化但高端会议机会欠缺等。这些特征说明,浙江省各地区均有一定的翻译需求,翻译本科专业毕业生具备一定的就业潜力;高校翻译专业的课程设置和口译课程设计应尽量与翻译市场需求接轨。
The Undergraduate Teaching Requirements for Translation Major in Colleges and Universities proposes that the goal of BTI talent cultivation is to train qualified translators (interpreters or translators). In order to cultivate career translators, it is necessary to have a thorough understanding of the professional market of oral translators and interpreters. The survey on the interpretation market in various regions of Zhejiang Province shows that at present most employers in Zhejiang Province have full-time translators, but the salary of translators in different regions is uneven. The overall market threshold is lower but the ability of translators is more comprehensive; the professional content of full-time translators but the lack of high-end meeting opportunities. These characteristics indicate that there are certain translation requirements in all regions of Zhejiang Province, and the graduates with translation undergraduates have certain employment potential. The curriculums and interpreting courses in the major of translation in colleges and universities should be designed to meet the needs of the translation market.
